Research Into Vox pops

Vox Pops or Vox populi (Latin for voice of the people) is a series of short interviews with random members of the public. Vox pop is filmed on busy street with an interview approaching members of the public and asking them all the same question, this is then strung together while editing with each interviewee’s answer lasting around five to ten seconds.
Filming a vox pops can lead to unpredictable answer and this is edited down in post production to give a balanced and well represented view of public opinion towards any given subject.

Typical subjects for a vox pop include; political debates, financial debates, and sport, but really can be done about anything that the general public feel interested enough to have an opinion on. Hear is an example of a vox pop off You tube:

Do I Really Need.....

Do i really need money? This is the topic i have settled on for my program idea. I was torn between do I really need to read and do I really need money but I have decided to settle on the money idea due to it being more of an engaging topic and it is also a subject that for many students it is easier to relate with. To develop my idea i have researched on the web at such sites as ; http://money.howstuffworks.com/personal-finance/budgeting/how-much-money-to-live.htm

I also Found this video really interesting and inspiring:
